Certificates Week 10-Congratulations to Lydia for excellent effort during Literacy, especially helping your peers, Isabella for reaching for the stars in your Reading and Zac for excellent effort in your ordering numbers in Numeracy.

Whanau groups- Friday morning we started the day in our Whanau groups again- mixed up groups throughout the school to share our Learning in RE of the Sacrament strand- Kawakawa shared their 'Holy places, Holy symbols and Holy times' learning with others.

We were very lucky to have some North Otago Rugby players come and teach some ball skills and play Rippa Rugby with the kids this week.

We wrote stories imagining where we would like to float to in a bubble. This afternoon we celebrated our amazing writing by blowing bubbles! Hope you enjoy our movie.

Please wear PE gear this Monday and Tuesday instead of Thursday! We will be having some Rippa Rugby sessions with some North Otago Rugby players from 2:30-3:00.

Jump Rope day

Jump Rope

On Tuesday the whole school participated in the Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser where they had to do different activities -skipping, chalk drawings of healthy food, jumping with long ropes, different types of skipping, skipping to music and much more.

Children were given sponsorship forms attached to a brown jump rope envelope which is to be returned to the office by tomorrow-Friday 19th Septemember.  A percentage of the money raised goes to The Heart Foundation.
